WELCOME LETTER OF THE H.S.F. PRESIDENT

On behalf of the Hellenic Shooting Federation, I have the pleasure and the honour to welcome the administration of the International Practical Shooting Confederation and the international IPSC Shooting Family at the beautiful and hospitable island of Rhodes.

Addressing to the organizing committee of the competition, the competitors and their escorts, I would like to point out that, at this moment, international competitions as the IPSC Handgun World Shoot XVI 2011, are significant beyond their importance as sporting events.

In a period during which, the international economy faces severe problems, the international peace and safety suffers deeply and nature runs wild and threatens the global balance, sport events like ours bring people closer to each other and distract their attention from the monotonous and unpleasant daily routine.

I firmly believe that our competition will represent a pleasant sport experience and memory for all and I wish you a pleasant stay in Greece. Especially to the competitors I wish every possible success in the competition.
